It sounds so serious: the Master Community Association of Central Park. And in fact, the MCA has a big job, operating and maintaining community property and facilities such as Central Park’s public pools, town centers, trail network, parks and so forth.
 
...But the Central Park MCA plays another essential role — taking Central Park’s walkable network of gathering places and activating them with a calendar of events and programs that is quite unlike any other place. Summer Farmers Markets. Outdoor Movie Series, Theater Series and Concert Series. Art festivals and seasonal celebrations. And thanks to the MCA’s visionary funding structure, Central Park will always have a lively neighborhood life.
